Amazing! I lived throughout the country and this establishment was superb! Definitely recommend the all you can eat suishi!
The seafood is so fresh. Definitely worth the money.
The worst service possible...sitting here for an hour now and no food. Some people at our table received food while the others sit and wait. I will never come back.
really good food and the place is pretty
Service is great. Food is never a disappointment. Been here about a dozen times already & we absolutely love the all you can eat sushi!
All you can eat for $23. Not bad at all.
This place was amazing. The rolls were larger than I expected and ever saw at a sushi place. Everything was so tasty. I can't wait to go again. Everyone in my party came out of the restaurant happy and satisfied ! I recommend it 100%.
Went here with a friend only twice but it was still good..on both times... Quiet place to eat too
Great food. Nice people
Service and Food were both excellent. Did not like Ginger Dressing on House Salad, however everything else was fresh and delicious.
Great noodles and great service.
Service is good, sushi delicious!
The sushi is very, very good but on some nights you will notice it is slightly lacking in flavor compared to certain other restaurants serving sushi. The service is generally very good, although I've had one incident where a roll was missing one of its ingredients. The restaurant is clean overall and is generally not overly crowded or busy, so you get your food in a timely manner. The all you can eat deal for sushi is an excellent value.
So good!
50% off Hibachi every Wednesday and Thursday
They've changed ownership a couple of times but don't let that turn you away. They have some of the hottest grills in the area so they can actually properly sear a steak. Sushi specials are amazing as well.
Great Sushi all you can eat is such a good option. Service seems a little slow and inattentive sometimes.
I wasn't a huge fan of the food at this place during my 2 visits. Very salty and overcooked both times. The prices are average for hibachi, but kabuki and Osaka are far superior options.
It used to be great, but it seems that they've changed management; the waiter, although nice, handed us the menus and we had to get a table for ourselves, which I didn't mind at all, but found it odd. They also seem to be significantly slow and have made several mistakes the times I have previously gone in the past few weeks. This time it took them nearly over an hour for our food to arrive, meanwhile there were others who came after us and we're given their food quicker, which makes me angry, because the plates they were served were far more complicated than uncooked sushi rolls. There wasn't many people in the restaurant so II couldn' understand why it took them so long.I used to regularly go to this place, but seeing how sloppy and slow it seems they've become, unfortunately it turns out I will have to find another sushi spot.
Large scale riot. It's Friday night the place is 1/4 full and they have 1 waitress. There are group's of people openly flipping out that they've been here 2 hours for sushi. We would have left but with a riot impending this is like watching a train wreck in slow motion.Food is good and I've never had issues before but if they won't hire or schedule staff it's a waste of time.
Used to love going here , walked in the door and waited 10 to 15 minutes before seeing a waitress/hostess, a half hour later we ordered our drinks a half hour after that she came to take our order, we payed and left before we could order. I blame management. The ceiling was leaking next to a table. ..never again
Very reasonably priced and good food
Horrible service. Waited an hour for my dinner while other tables got the same thing I ordered first. And they came in half hour after me. I will never go there again!
Great sushi burrito, eel and salmon. Yummmm
This was the WORST dining experience of my life. I came to Kobe with some friends for my birthday around 8:00 on a Sunday night, however it was a holiday weekend. There wasn’t a chef on call, and we have to wait 45 minutes for a chef to arrive. If that wasn’t enough, it took an extra half hour to get just our drinks. The cooking of the food itself took over an hour and by the time I got my food at 10:45 pm I didn’t even want it. The fried rice was over cooked, and not enjoyable and the portions were WAY too small. Would not reccomedn even to my worst enemy.
Terrible customer service, incredibly ignorant. Unfortunate as the food is the most decent in close proximity to my home. Won’t be returning.
This place is amazing. I come here very frequently for the sushi. It's pretty bland looking from the outside so you may pass it by. Don't judge this book by its cover! Everyone is friendly and the food is great.
Good food. Nice, earthy green tea. Yaki Soba was enjoyable.
Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. The chef was very entertaining, and cooked everything to perfection.
Great food and service. Banana tempura is highly recommended!!
Unbelievably good sushi, super polite and friendly staff that answered all our questions. I even asked to have our pieces cut thinner and they obliged. It's cute inside, I haven't tried the hibachi yet.but it always smells amazing when I walk in. The shrimp shumai is incredible and they offer half priced sushi on Sundays!
23 dollars for around 50 dollars of sushi. Would give 5 stars but there was a spider.
It was an okay place to eat.. their all you can eat sushi special is not what I expected. Figured they'd at least bring the beef and noodles and such on one plate .. but they literally bring you what looks like chopped up Tyson chicken tenders with sauce over to on one plate ... appetizers comes out with dinner... and once we ate and wanted to see the menu to see what is in the sushi (since we got all you can eat) they wouldn't let us see the menu again... I can say the sushi was good though
The best sushi and sashimi any where around . Go too eye dr in Scranton every 6 weeks and Kobe always for dinner!
Had the Hibachi experience it was wonderful took my 92 year old mother she loved it
The place itself can probably use some work, however the food is good. They do have all you can eat sushi on the weekend , but you should check, not everything is included.
It's great am the kids love it
New management. New menu. An all you can eat sushi, teriyaki, rice, appatizer option that includes special rolls. Very good selection and quality.
Some of the best sushi in the area! Can't wait to go again. 10/10
One of my favorite spots for good sushi. Can't beat the all you can eat menu for $22
The sushi was very good. The service could use some improvement.
All you can eat sushi. Incredible!! Delious hibachi meal as well. Will definitely go back.
God food and great service
We have eaten here several times now and have enjoyed both the sushi and hibachi each time
The staff was very nice and polite. I didn't get to try the sushi just yet but the habatchi was outstanding! I will absolutely return to this place.
No the place is not closed they are just not big on landscaping. The food is great and with all you can eat sushi for 23$ it can't be beat. Time limit is 2 hours and if you order the all u can eat and don't finish you will be charged. So order a little at a time.March 10th 2018Service is significantly slower despite people being served around us. It's almost like they are they are trying to wait us out because we are doing the all you can eat. Very disappointing 😞Sept 2018 Permanently closed.
New to the area and tried Kobe for first time today on Valentines Day 2017 and the sushi is amazing!!!! We are ordering from here all the time! So delicious 😆😆😆 I give Kobe 👍👍👍
In all honesty, the food during the lunch special was ok. The service was great, but of course the food was the main attraction. They also seem to purposely take a long time making the sushi for the all you can eat sushi. I came for a reason.. don’t let this settle before you bring the next place. Atmosphere is pretty meh as well compared to other Kobe locations I’ve seen.
Have returned multiple times and have never been disappointed. My favorite Japanese restaurant in the Scranton/Wilkesbarre area.
